Anthony & Bogalech Elmore invite you to take this Internet tour of their "All African Style Home"  located at 1035 Semmes street in Memphis, Tennessee. The Bamboo gates were made in West Africa and shipped to Memphis, Tennessee. Bamboo gates had never been seen in the African country where they had the gates produced.  Little children in the neigborhood call the 20 feet wide ten feet tall gates the "King Kong" movie gates. The African master Bamboo weaver also made the weaved or straw Elephants. The Bamboo master made the two drive gates and a 3 foot walking entry gate.
Anthony and Bogalech Elmore pose under the Elephants at their gate.
The outside brick wall and the home is covered  from a concrete stucco.  Elmore chose this style stucco because this style can be found in Africa and the color and style resembles the African straw and mud huts.
